Miracle Meals: When God Gives the Vision, He Makes the Way

People often ask me how Miracle Meals began. The truth is, it didn’t begin with me but it began with God. One day, God placed a vision in my heart to start a food truck ministry that would serve the community with both food and the love of Jesus Christ. The dream was far bigger than anything I could accomplish on my own. To be honest, I was afraid.

I had no money to buy a food truck, worked a full-time job, and had no experience running either a food truck or a nonprofit ministry. By every human standard, the vision seemed impossible. Yet I couldn’t ignore God’s calling.

As I prayed, one truth kept echoing in my heart: When God gives the vision, He also provides the provision. At first, I hoped that someday we might be able to purchase a small used food truck. But God had a much greater plan.

After hearing me share the vision, a friend from my church was deeply moved by the Holy Spirit and she generously donated a commercial food truck the size of a school bus. I stood in awe, knowing that only God could have done something like that.

It was a powerful reminder that when God calls us, He faithfully provides everything we need.

From that moment on, God continued to work miracle after miracle…

He brought faithful volunteers with willing hearts. He raised up generous supporters who gave financially. He connected us with people who offered their time, talents, and resources. Every need was met at just the right time, and every obstacle became another opportunity to witness God’s faithfulness.

God also opened doors for us to minister beyond the food truck. We visited children’s hospitals to pray for sick children and encourage their families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. While we couldn’t always change their circumstances, we could share the hope, peace, and love found in Jesus Christ.

Looking back, I realized that Miracle Meals was never just about serving food. It has always been about sharing the love of Christ and pointing people to the Bread of Life. A meal can satisfy physical hunger for a day, but only Jesus can satisfy the deepest hunger of the human heart forever.

God took someone with no experience, no resources, and no qualifications, and showed that His power is made perfect in our weakness. Everything Miracle Meals has become is because of His grace.

One verse has become the foundation of my life and ministry:

Do not be afraid; just believe.

Mark 5:36

Those words have carried me through every challenge and every impossible situation. I have learned that God doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies those who are willing to trust and obey Him.

Miracles are not just stories from the Bible. They are still happening today, and Miracle Meals is one of them.

To God be all the glory.

Our Focus

The mission of Miracle Meals is not aimed at establishing its own church. We remain focused to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the message of salvation, hope, and unconditional love. Through every meal and every act of kindness, we want people to encounter the living presence of Jesus and know that He has not forgotten them.

We believe every person is created in God's image and deserves to be treated with dignity, care, and love. Our prayer is that through Miracle Meals, lives will be touched, faith will be restored, and hearts will be drawn closer to Christ, the true source of hope and life.
